As we begin our day, we ask for your guidance and strength to help us serve others.
Please remind us that every person we encounter is created in your image and deserves to be treated with love and respect.
Help us to see the needs of those around and be willing to step in and help in any way we can.

your mercies are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Accept our grateful thanks for every provision for all our needs especially for this food now before us: please use it to strengthen our bodies, and use our bodies in your service.
